　　Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China （CPC） and chairman of the Central Military Commission （CMC）, Tuesday signed a mobilization order for the training of the armed forces, the first order of the CMC in 2022, which declared the start of military training for the year.

 

　　中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平4日签署中央军委2022年1号命令，向全军发布开训动员令。

 

　　The entire rank and file of the armed forces are required to resolutely implement the plans and instructions of the Party leadership and the CMC, according to the order, adding that the changing landscape of national security and combat circumstances must be accurately understood.

 

　　根据命令，全军各级要坚决贯彻党中央和中央军委决策指示，准确把握国家安全和军事斗争形势变化。

 

　　The armed forces must closely follow the evolution of technology, warfare and rivals, redouble their efforts to better combine training with combat operations, and strengthen systematic training and the use of technologies to develop an elite force that is capable of fighting and winning wars, the order read.

　　China's first law on family education enacted on January 1, 2022 instructs parents to become responsible guardians and specifies the boundary between school education and family education, experts said.

 

　　《中华人民共和国家庭教育促进法》从2022年1月1日开始正式实施。这是我国首次就家庭教育进行专门立法。专家表示，该法在指导家长切实履行监护人责任的同时，明确了学校教育和家庭教育的界限。

 

　　The Family Education Promotion Law which has six chapters and 55 articles stipulates the responsibilities of guardians of minors and the society on family education in terms of family responsibility, state support, social collaboration and legal responsibility.

　　The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership （RCEP） agreement, the world's largest free trade agreement, entered into force on Saturday.
